AoD is a 2-piece project from the North-East part of Czech Republic which plays an alternative, melancholic trip-hop with emocore, dark ambient industrial, drum'n'bass, and ethno parts. Founded in 2003 as a pure instrumental one man project of Fido, who tried to mix computer sounds and noises with harder or emotional guitar riffs and keyboard melodies by sampling and programming. A difference between AoD and the most of other trip-hop bands with vocalist is they don't want to sound as other ones, so they sing in Czech language, not in English. AoD tries to break some clichés about "dance" and "rock" music, which are uncombinable and on opposite corners of the music spectrum for some people. AoD tries to show that this fusion is functional without any "synthetic" or "unfitting" sound. AoD - it's a rhythm, dance, darkness, and decadence...
